Sun Valley Summer Symphony

Instilling a life-long love of classical music, the Sun Valley Summer Symphony performs inspiring, admission-free, concerts in spectacular Sun Valley; the central Idaho outdoor paradise known as much for its arts and culture as its recreational opportunities. Now in its 35th season, the Symphony is the largest privately funded, free-admission orchestra in the United States. Every July and August, over 100 world-class musicians and soloists from across the globe convene to participate in the summer season at the spectacular outdoor Sun Valley Pavilion. This February 19-23, the Symphony introduces its inaugural Winter Festival at the new Argyros Performing Arts Center. Both venues are nestled at the base of iconic Bald Mountain, in the heart of America’s first destination ski resort. The Symphony provides opportunities for people to listen, learn, and play through education programs like the year-round School of Music for students ages 9 to 18, the Summer Music Institute, and adult education programs.
